Pusod

Stagira

Mula sa aking kinaroroonan
Mataas pa sa gubat, higit na matayog sa mga bulaklak
Nakukulambuan ang mga ulap.

Abot ng tanaw ang haring karagatan
Tubig sa labas ng bangang kapaligiran
Na siya niyang sisidlan.

Huli ng aking balintataw
Ang pusod ng lunting sukal
Doo’y tanging siya lamang ang gumagalaw.

Animo’y patpat na pabalik-balik
Paikot-ikot sa linang
Binabasag ang di natitinag na kalikasan.

Isipin na lamang na ang patpat
Na ito’y kailangang maglinang
Upang tumubo ang palay.
